First we will have the presentation talk of Saman Khodaverdian with the title "On the Synchronization of Linear Heterogeneous Multi-Agent Systems".

Afterwards Tsvetoslava Vateva-Gurova will talk on her mid-term progress and thesis plan evaluation.

Rettungsroboter der TU Darmstadt Weltmeister bei der RoboCup-WM in Brasilien

Bei der diesjährigen RoboCup-Weltmeisterschaft, die von 19. bis 25. Juli in João Pessoa, Brasilien ausgetragen wurde, konnte sich das Team Hector der TU Darmstadt in der RoboCup Rescue-League gegen die internationale Konkurrenz durchsetzen und erstmals den Weltmeistertitel erringen. Außerdem gewann des Team erneut den Preis für den intelligentesten Roboter.

Talk by Jan Faigl, July 9, 3pm, on Multi-Goal Path Planning in Mobile Robotics

Multi-goal path planning is a problem to find a shortest path for a robot to visit a given set of locations in the robot's operating environment. This problem can be found in many practical applications where mobile robots are requested to collect information about the environment or to visit desired sites. This planning problem can be formulated as the traveling salesman problem or multiple traveling salesman problem in a case of a multi-robot team.
