Qualified for the finals

Team HECTOR qualified for the finals of the RoboCup Rescue League in Singapore. Currently, the Recue Robot Team of the GKMM is the leading autonomous team. The team might receive another special award for the reliable vision based cognition system.

Joint GKMM paper accepted as oral presentation at IROS

The joint work "Vision Based Victim Detection from Unmanned Aerial Vehicles" has been accepted as oral presentation at this year's IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS 2010) in Taipei.

 

Team HECTOR Darmstadt in Singapore

Team HECTOR Darmstadt (former Darmstadt Recue Robots Team) arrived in Singapore to participate in the 2010 RoboCup Rescue League.

The competition will start tomorrow (21st June).

Team Hector Darmstadt successfully participated in the RoboCup German Open Rescue League 2010, which took place in Magdeburg from15th - 18th April.

The RoboCup RescueLeague emerged to one of the standard benchmarks in the field of search and rescue robotics with focus on autonomy and mobility.
