Gail Thomas heads the DARPA program on networked droid/UAV swarms covering collaboration, stability and adaptation issues (almost a poster pitch for GKmM).

Congratulations to all team members of the GK's Team Hector for a very impressive performance at RoboCup German Open this weekend in Magdeburg!!

In the RoboCup Rescue Robot League the overall 1st place was achieved with a total score that was like in an own league way ahead of all other teams.

Furthermore, the Best in Class Autonomy Award was won.

Title: Autonomous Control and Human Interaction in Multiple Robots Systems

Abstract: This topic of this talk will centered around the recent work of the Autonomous Robotics and Human-Machine Systems group at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics in the field of multi-robot system control.

The problem statement will emphasise on trust issues in a typical Cloud system model. An approach to establish trust in the Cloud ecosystem upon authentication will be presented. The approach involves negotiation and quantitative aggregation of security parameters.
